For this session we experimented using colors. We fırst learned about colors and proportions to then use the colors from our artist research on Pantone. Later on we did many designs and then brainstormed some fabric ideas. Last of all we fully illustrated the designs on white paper.
This session was very challenging for me because ı really don’t like drawing. I tried keeping an open mind for design and tried to think about things to do, but my brain was shut and I could not imagine outside the box. Although I had trouble doing the designs I decided to try a more basic way to do the designs and it really worked for me.
Overall, I will try and think outside the box from now on even if its hard because I realized you always come with the best outcomes when you think outside the box. Although I didn’t enjoy this lesson very much the coloring part was pretty fun.
