Project Review (session 14)

This session was a peer review session in which we all looked through our peer’s projects and gave them feedback. By doing this we realized our strengths and weaknesses. We also realized the works that we forgot to do and will complete.

First, we exchanged portfolios with my peer Qi and we both gave our honest reviews to each other. We wrote which areas we can improve on and which areas are good. Later on, after exchanging portfolios with 5-6 of my peers I realized I had a lot of feedback. I was very happy about it because other people’s opinion really matters especially for the way it looks. I was not very surprised with the comments, most of them were very neutral, but some of the comments about how I should change some of the layouts were very helpful. Also, my peers pointed out some of the mistakes I had made with the text sizes, that I would probably not even see, so it was very helpful. Another thing my peer pointed out was that there weren’t many full body shots and because I want styling, I decided it was best to do one more shoot to express myself better.

Overall, this was a very helpful session because I understood what I need to change and add much better. It was also amazing and interesting to see my peers works, although none of our works were fully complete, I am excited to see all the outcomes.
