In this session we first talked about all of the courses for media in LCF. I knew that I had options but I did not know that there were this many. Later on, we were required to create a fashion short film focusing on our shoes that we customized
I want to pursue a career in styling and for this reason looking through all the courses and listening to what was in each course made my mind clearer that I want to study Fashion Styling & Production. At first when we were told to do a short film I got stressed because we were required to edit and make it look got, and I am not very confident with my editing skills, but later on after seeing examples I thought about what kind of short film I could do and got many ideas in my mind. After I took some photos of my shoe, I started discovering editing apps and photoshop, I made some examples and then put together the ones I loved the most. In this process I realized that the more I edit the more netter I get, so I decided that I am going to explore different apps and photoshop much further to be more confident in my skills. The SDS task for today’s session is to plan, organize and make a final look book. We need to do many test shots to achieve the best outcome. I am on my planning process and I am planning to use my sister as a model, because I think that the shoe matches her vibe and style. I am planning to experiment in many different locations such as the Christmas trees all around London, winter wonderland and many different backgrounds… Fort his task I will go out of my way to take some extraordinary photos by making her do extraordinary poses.
Finally, I am very excited to continue my photoshoots for my shoe and I am also very curious about how it will turn out. I believe that with all the hard work I will put in this task I will come up with a great final work, just like how I was very happy with my final short video we did in class today.
